When should I create an extra SQAI workspace or buy another license?

Updated this week

You need an extra license when you’re managing unrelated products, projects, or clients that don’t share the same documentation, data, or QA workflows.

Each SQAI workspace builds its own AI context — meaning it learns from your integrated tools, documentation, and test cases to understand how your project operates.
When everything belongs to one product line or release cycle, a single workspace is perfect.

However, if you manage different products, client projects, or departments with separate backlogs or integrations, combining them can blur your AI context and reduce accuracy.

Create an extra workspace if:

  • You test multiple independent products or domains.

  • You serve multiple clients or business units.

  • Teams use different Jira or Confluence spaces.

  • QA workflows or naming conventions differ.

Example:

If you handle QA for both your company’s SaaS platform and a client’s custom project, create a separate workspace for each to keep results clear and reliable.
